different luxurious hotels were built in seville for the international exhibition of 1929. some of them do still exist as colon and alfonso xiii.
some others were knocked down or reconverted into something different. one of them was the one located at current building called el cristina... i couldn´t find any pictures today but i saw them once so i will keep on surfing the net to look for them

The international exhibition of 1929 was in Barcelona. The Seville's Exhition was in 1992.

the one in 1992 in seville was an universal exhibition which is the top category in world exhibitions

dínoslo a nosotros... el hotel Atlantic formaba un maravilloso conjunto junto a los otros dos edificios modernistas que se conservan a su par, el Kiosko Alfonso y La Terraza, y fue injustamente demolido por un pelotazo urbanistico-caciquil y para poner en su lugar ese enjendro.

Dicen que la concesión de la que disfruta este hotel está proxima a expirar, veremos que hacen con su parcela.

I'll check if those hotels meet our main criteria (if they are opened until WWII) and invite them to participate. Sadly, Granada's Alhambra Palace did not respond to my invite...

H. Real (invited 3x), ignored my invite. However, the interior photo shown is not from the H. Real, but from the ex H. Ritz in Barcelona (today Palace Hotel) which does not have the rights to use the hotel's original name (Ritz) nor its history and to speak of this hotel without its historical part doesn't make sense...

As much as I wanted to presented those hotels via their history & present, it seems that (in Real's case) they do not share my idea...
