Atlantis, today from Crescent West. Nice that this side of the crescent is open for public now, it provides stunning views of the Marina.

Views of Jumeirah Lakes Towers on my daily way to work

For a while I wondered what this strange looking building might be...

It's really funny, you get to see both buildings only from this perspective. Further down the road both disappear behind villas along the road and it took me quite a while (like weeks) to realize that it is a breed of two buildings in JLT and Marina

Wwas just there last wekk, prefer Abu Dhabi but Dubai was still nice, very quiet though I think the city has been affected by the world problems but then again who hasnt. nice pic.

Many people have left for Easter holiday it seems. Getting to work has been much easier for the last two weeks. Overall Dubai is just as busy as a year ago I think. But there have been effects of the crisis here as well, of course.

Thanks for all these most stunning photos of Dubai. I had been lookiing for some recent photos. It is starting to look like Coruscant from Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith - Capital of the known galaxy a long time ago, far, far away. I'm a scuba diver too, btw. It has really enriched my life. Perhaps some day Dubai will look like this.
