Architecture of Regent's Canal, London

Regent's Canal

"Part of the Grand Union Canal, Regent's Canal starts at Little Venice and ends at Limehouse Basin in Docklands. A quiet and atmospheric backwater, it passes by parks, a zoo, Victorian warehouses and celebrity hangouts."

Great shots! I was visiting Little Venice, Camden town and Limehouse basin just a couple of weeks ago - I guess I should've walked along the canal instead of taking the tube

Great photo's, I hope there's more to come!

The Regents Canal & The River Lea are both such important features of London's landscape, the tranquility they offer amidst the chaos and urbanity of London is much loved and cherished by all Londoners alike. If I could give one piece of advice to any tourist wanting to get "off the beaten track" in London, it would be to spend a day or two walking the Regent's Canal (preferably when the weather's good!). Best place to start is the Limehouse basin (as wawd has), finishing up in Little Venice. It's a long walk but I guarantee you your inner-Londoner will love you for it. Plus, there's loads of great pubs along the way just try not to fall in!
