Well that serbo-croat is "still in use",becouse linguisticly it is one language.Linguisticly, theres no sauch language as bosnian, montenegrian, dalmatian just Serbo-Croat.When language Match 80% it is one language, and when language match 100% as serbo-croat it is obviosly one language. It is not problem to call language in constitution Serbian or Croatian i ne each country(as it is now). But the fact is that liguisticly it is one language.Everything else is nationalism.
You can see that validators are in use in cyrilc and latin and english.I even didn't notice that validators are in use on two alphabets.
Belgrade is regional center, so people from former Yu are regulary visti it,both alphabets are in use.Even cyrilc is in dangerous becouse media regulary use latin alphabet. Our daily press you can read on line on lat.and cyr.

Belgrade ,latin alphabet dominate on public display.

New validators use only serbian cyrillic and english. Serbian and Croatian are different languages they don't match nearly 80% and those are facts. You obviusly have some issues with that, but i don't care, just don't says stupid things like that.

Serbs are in comfort to regulary use both letters, one of the reason is former yu heriatage when Yugoslavia was formed with the standardisation of serbocroatian language when was also pushed on media, school etc.
Another deeper reason is old history of Serbia with Slavic routs was part of Roman empire and later Byzantyne empire when greek letter was dominate and Serbs and Bulgarians manage to keep slavic cirilyc alphabet (we was long time ago part of many eu's)

Well you can be nationalistic about it,but scientific linguistic aproach is something you dont,t have to prove.
Well there are a lot Slavistic cathedra's all over world.Serbian and Croatian linguisticly match 100%.We don.t need translation obviosly, but with Sloveninas,Bulgarians it is 80% match so maybe you can even ask for translation.
Serbian and Croatian language has variation there are just slight diffrences, much less than same other 80% match language.
Questinon for you? Does Austrian,Swiss laguage exist or is it German?Does English,Scottish,American,Australian exist separetly or is it a one language ?How Scottish and Texas people understand each other?
If it is true that Croatian and Serbian are diffrent 80% Does Montenegrian,Bosnian languge exist? Do you need translation to Croatian? No you don't...

Answer for you, Serbia is not Germany, and Croatia is not Austria. It's 2017, Croatia is independent country and that is reality, YU is history. There is no serbo-croat language, wake up and stop living in ilusion.

-The list of 100 words of the basic Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin vocabulary, as set out by Morris Swadesh, shows that all 100 words are identical.[100] According to Swadesh, 81 per cent are sufficient to be considered as a single language

-The Serbo-Croatian language was standardised in the mid-19th century, and all subsequent attempts to dissolve its basic unity have not succeeded.

-According to phonology, morphology and syntax, these standard variants are essentially one language because they are based on the same, Štokavian dialect.
So much for the nationalist bullshit. Yes there are minor differences in vocabulary and semantics, but all this is normal for a language to have, as in every language there are regional differences.

The greatest evidence for it being one language is that you actually can speak with the others without the need for a translator.

You said that BusPlus system uses serbo-croat language, I said that it uses only serbian and after that you started this unnecesary argument and said that languages are same but they are not. We can all understand each other because we lived in Yugoslavia, but languages uses different words and i can't understand why can't you just accept that. This is big offtopic and i'm not gonna comment that anymore.

I had the impression, that the whole city was in latin alphabet, most of the shops etc. - cyrillic was used almost only in offices/authorities. For me it looked like the 'street' uses latin, the officials use cyrillic.
