Well no, I will have to disagree with you on that. I don't think Moscow lacks trees, in fact there can be seen a number of them almost on each photo, you just have to remember that Moscow has real winters and during this time trees normally don't have leafs, which gives the impresion that vegetation is lacking and which probably caused that you overseen them on the photos.

In fact, I must say, I have been to a number of cities and the Russian ones tend to be -in summer - among the greenest of this world (compared to those of similar size and urbanity of course).
