At tha last picture you can see a white 737 with a red tail. That's the 737-700BBJ (HB-JJA) wet-lease from Private Air.

I flew with KLM jumbo to Jakarta last year and they don't have PTV screens in the economy class.

Because of the relations between west and Iran, there is no direct flights yet, but I have heard they are going to add the Iran Air flights soon but not finalized yet.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport expansion(s)

There are many plans to expand the biggest airport of the Netherlands and one of the biggest in Europe.
But it seems that there's finally a 'final' plan. By building 2 new piers, the flights can be increased from 430.000 to 510.000.
When 600.000 flights are needed the already excisting plans for a second terminal will be looked at.

- Pier A & A'

In the summer there will be a (hopefully) final decission about the following pier expansion (Pier A & A');

Offcorse there are many people who want to have Schiphol built in the sea, because of the small size of the Netherlands;

Schiphol is just insane, in every (good and bad) way.

If they want to replace / complement it with a brand new airport, maybe they should build it inside.....perhaps in the Markermeer?

Thanks for posting this, they really need a plan like this. I think the plan for reducing the sound is the most important one. Saw it a lot in the news, people are complaining a lot.

Runway (Dutch: Baan)

1. Buitenveldertbaan (3450m)
The flyingroute goes over an Amsterdam borough called Buitenveldert.

2. Kaagbaan (3490m)
Named after a nearby village called De Kaag or the Kagger lakes.

3. Oostbaan (2014m)
The Eastrunway goes from south-west to north-east. It's the shortest runway and is use by smaller airplanes.

4. Aalsmeerbaan (3400m)
Named after a nearby town called Aalsmeer.

5. Zwanenburgbaan (3300m)
Named after a nearby town called Zwanenburg.

6. Polderbaan (3800m)
Polderrunway, named after the polder-area.

7. Next runway expension 2nd Kaagbaan???
