Maybe this airport should work on making sure that all gates are connected airside, so pax (esp. those on seperate tickets) do not have to go landside first to change terminals.
It's a shame that not all gates are connected airside as of today.

Maybe not you. But it would be appreciated by passengers, who are connecting on separate tickets at AMS - esp. between LCC and exotic longhaul carriers (e.g. to Suriname or TUI Nederlands). KLM does not serve all destination in this world.

I do not get the point why a budget terminal should not be connected to the rest, because it is a budget terminal. Between departure lounge 4 (budget terminal) and departure lounge 3 is only a glas wall (with doors for staff). It should not be so difficult to install an immigration checkpoint (one manned station; two automated gates) to allow passengers moving between lounge 3 and 4. I hope that neither the airline, nor the airport operator has to pay the Dutch government to man the immigration checkpoint.

Schiphol has chosen the design of KAAN Architecten in collaboration with ABT, Estudio Lamela and Ineco

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has chosen the design of KAAN Architecten for their new terminal. The new terminal will open in 2023 and will allow 14 million more passengers to travel through Schiphol annually. The new terminal is an expansion of Schiphol's existing terminal, making it possible to retain the one terminal concept. The consortium's innovative thinker is Arnout Meijer Studio from The Netherlands.

wow first time i dunno what to think .. I love it but I dont at the same time ... I feel like I am looking at an airport that is designed for late 60s or 70s, but at the same time I love the clean straight lines. What do u guys think?

That it is designed to fit in with the existing structures.

KLM announced Fortaleza (FOR) as it's third destination in Brazil. From the website:

KLM’s partnership with the Brazilian airline GOL was one of the reasons for choosing Fortaleza as our third destination in Brazil. Fortaleza’s strategic geographical location, its developing economy and tourism, and the new air routes GOL opens up to other major cities in the north and northeast of Brazil, make it a highly attractive destination for KLM. KLM’s partner Air France will also commence a scheduled service to Fortaleza from Paris in May 2018.

KLM, Air France and GOL will thus create a hub at Fortaleza that will initially offer connections to Salvador, Recife, Natal, Belém, Manaus, and Brasilia. New connections will be added in the future to make Europe more accessible to customers in the north and northeast of Brazil.

Its a bit simple and minimalist terminal design. Wish they added more things to make it more interesting but that's just me. This does seem very relaxing and peaceful than say an airport like DXB.

The intension was to just not that. In the Dutch Schiphol topic where some renders of eye catchers as well. How nice they where looking on their own, it just didn't fit. 'Fit right in' is what they choose.
Rather good imho, because I have to look at it every day as long as I work here on the airport.

I say is rather German. Simple design but very stylish though.
