Great photo's gerald.

The effect the lens has is really wierd, it makes a picture look like a model. I have never seen anything like that before.

Absolutely great effect to this photo's Gerald. Some just look like the miniature railways i used to have at home. (Especially the last one)

Cheers Engineer.

It is REALLY difficult getting the desired effect. I've been playing around a lot today with different tilt settings, focuses, exposures, compositions, etc etc.

Cropping the picture has a huge effect. Here's another example that I think comes off quite well, but it took me about half an hour going through dozens of photos before I got even close to being satisfied, and I'm still not convinced it's the best possible crop from the original.

(not from the same photo as the previous example)

One more.

Again, from a different image.

Yup.

The three lastest ones are with the 45mm Tilt-Shift lens and a 1.4x teleconverter. I'm tempted to get the 2x teleconverter as well as this model effect seems to be easier to achieve with a longer focal length.

I think I'm getting the hang of it now. A week or so back, I'd take 20 or so pictures, and if I was lucky, one would have something in it half-decent. Now, probably more than half of them come out OK.

Takes about a minute to set-up each shot.
