Even with problems , and there is any where in the world , as a simple Belgium guy , I'm proud of Saudi to see this kind of project.
A very strong and continue improvement , they have a lot of thing to do ...

Any updates !? sounds like a great initiative, sort of like Shiekh Zayed's plans of turning the desert into a forest. (Allah Yer7emah)

total area: 2,500,000 m2 / 120,000 trees (completed 2010)

phase 2:
total area: 8,000,000 m2 / 360,000 trees (to be completed by December 2012)

Thanks for the update. They seemed to have reduced the tree density.
Still, good to see progress in IMO one of the most important projects in the city.

I went there it's just amazing forest everywhere you never now you are in Jeddah

and it's also really crowded there
