There is similar natural cut in Slovakia too. It's called Manín gulley:

I think this is more impressive. After you pass this cut you can see whole city of Isfahan in front of you.

Even in a flat country as NL there are some cuttings, but just like Piotr71 I come to the conclusion a lot of the pictures shown here are far more spectacular. The only motorway cutting worth mentioning is in the A1 near Apeldoorn.

I saw this entrance to the motorway on E20 about 100 west of Stockholm. I just had to get out of the car and do some climbing...
