Oxford, University and City

I thought I'd share some pictures that I collected during my studies.

I hope you all enjoy them.

Not the largest collection, but definitely the best quality photographs of Oxford I have ever seen. You captured the kind of intimate, out of the way places that I would normally gravitate to myself. Extremely well done. I hope you have quite a few more to share.

What kind of camera do you use?

Just a point and shoot sony

I have a quite a few more pictures, I'll link them up. Oxford is a less accessible University than Cambridge. My student ID let me snag pictures in places that are often inaccessible. Even as a student though, it took some friendly charm to get pictures in certain places.

it's a beautiful University, with far more of its gems hidden than visible to the public. The Bodleian Library for example has a breath-taking reading room, but sadly no photography is allowed anywhere in the library (aside from the divinity school).

More incredible shots! But the size has been reduced(?). If you are worried about space restrictions I can assure you the original size in which you posted them will not cause a bandwidth problem. I have seen entire threads where the size was much larger.

Keep up the good work!

Dont worry, I am probably more computer-illiterate than most people here.
Are you having trouble transfering the original size from you photo-hosting site? If so then I too was having the same problem. I messaged one of the moderators(Taller, Better)with this question:

Quote:
I am at present having trouble transfering images from photobucket to the forum in their original size. Each time the image is transfered as half its size or smaller. I have tried to re-size the photos but this causes too much blurring and I want the viewer to appreciate the details. Any suggestions?
The response:

Quote:
"Hi William! You'll notice at the bottom of the Upload Images and Video box, there is a little "reduce to" and a blank that you can choose from options. Mine is set at 1024 by 768. There is a blue link there called "more options". Click on this, and you can choose any size you want your photos to come out at ! Let me know if this works.."
I hope this answers your question. If not then you can also try to message Taller, Better, Rainier Meadows, bagthier, or KB and they will certainly clear things up for you.

Good Luck!
William
