I used no cheat codes for this one. I do not cheat! ![]() Enjoy! ![]() As it started off! Baby downtown TOD! ![]() Look at that res. tower! Newer aerial of the city. Where the freeway ends. Where downtown begins. North of Downtown Ya, you can drive it! ![]()

Forgot the region aerial!
![]() It is old so not all the development in the city is there. You can still see what is next to it!

I think that the style you use in this city is really great (low density areas in contrast with high density ones).

I like the contrast, wish I had the fortitude to do it (when ever I try to do it, I break down and turn it all to med/large density because I like the way it looks in the region view better, lol)
Good work. |

Wow, that's amazing. What I'd like to know though, is, how did you get enough money to start with that huge infrastructure?? You must've made a terrible loss in the beginning..

I also wonder about that. Can you post a pic of your budget? Sometimes it's interesting to see how people pay for this stuff. It's probably the year 5,000 or something.

I had a small budget to begin with. I usually just build it all out and it gets tight for a while there. Most of the people did not work in that city but one city over (In Hilton Head which has a huge office area right over the border and that city has about 300,000+ people. They just crossed over.) Then, I added in office space. Put in density next and then add some mass transit so the density can come in with more of it. Next...you have a city that is posted above.

Looks like you put some hard work into this!
In Sim City, are you given a stock of prefabricated buildings that you just place around town, or do you have the option of designing the edifices as well? Last edited by Mortar & Pestle; July 27th, 2004 at 11:20 PM. Reason: question. |
