Nice to see A380 being on final assembly for another operator Maybe it's a stupid question but, why is the tail section always painted before assembly and the rest of the fuselage after ? thx

I'm not sure but I believe that that part of the plane is build in a different factory / country and while they're doing that they add the custom painting for future operator

Airbus delivered Qantas’ eleventh A380 (MSN063) at a ceremony in Toulouse.

Her delivery flight is routing Toulouse to Sydney via Singapore. MSN063′s sister ship, MSN074, is currently in Toulouse for final testing before delivery in early December.

Once both are in service, they will allow Qantas to run daily Melbourne to Los Angeles flights.

Yesterday, Lufthansa’s tenth A380 (MSN073) performed her first flight.

She is expected to be ferried to Hamburg later in the week.

This would require Air France, Lufthansa to have more a380 planes in hands
The Rio de Janeiro Galeao, Sao Paulo Guarinhas, Mexico City Airport, Ministro Pistarini International Airport will be the first Latin America airports capable of handling the A380.
At the moment Air France 6 planes while Lufthansa has 8. I would say 2013-2014 on one of the above, or close to next year 2012 by Qantas

I think Qantas' livery is the best. Lufthansa livery is great because it's simple and serious. Singapore and Emirates is ok.
