To make it quick : The CEO of SIA engineering Company says : "Singapore Airlines stays extremely satisfied of the A380, it's a plane very reliable and the problems they've met with it is not different than the problems they've met with the other new planes they experienced" (A340, 747-400, 777)
He adds "Among all the launchings, the A380 was the smoothest"

Korean Air’s sixth A380 (MSN096) has been confirmed as the new frame being carried on Convoy #04/2012.

Only the wings and tailplane are being carried on this convoy, with the remaining components scheduled to arrive later in the month.

Delivery to the airline is scheduled for Q4 2012.

This will be Korean Air’s only A380 for 2012.

From August, Emirates will replace the B777 flights to AMS with a daily A380 flight.

The engine doesn't really look that much bigger.

One more thing that crossed my mind. If, and when the A380-900 gets launched, this will be the engine, and pylon it will use. So basically we're getting an early glimpse of what it will look like. The wing will stay the same also.

No, i think this is a common mistake, A380-900 will also use trent 900, at least the basic model, you can refer to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...and_deliveries At the bottom shows "A380-941 NA Trent 980-84 Rolls-Royce 374.09 kN / 84,098 lb 29 October 2004 4 December 2006"
Changing the engine is not simple, see A320neo, flight testing an engine is very different from you want to put it into commercial use

Singapore Airlines’ seventeenth A380 (MSN079) has emerged from the Hamburg hangars after outfitting was completed earlier in the month.

She will now go through a series of flight tests before being delivered to the airline in late March.
