That Thai A380 really looks nice with new paint indeed. I wonder when TG will operate it to the US.

Been on the Singapore SJ, and must say it was also nice. From what I see you like Earthly colours which is your type of taste.

Emirates interior has glitz, a little over the top, but then the Burj al Arab is also, and thats the way Dubai, and EK present themselves, no ? BTW in monetary form Emirates interior is everything but cheap, believe it, or not it cost a lot more to do EKs type of interior than Singapores high end Ikea look.

You will notice that EKs fancy shmancy type of interior is in a lot of G550s, and Globals out there. People with money like to fell pampered, and with the load factor on EKs SJs success speaks for it self.

About the flight crew I tend to like a mix of everything, where I find Singapore basically sticks to Asians. It's common on an EK flight for the crew to speak a mix of ten to twenty different languages.

Now how about the up coming dedicated A380 concourse A at DXB, that just shows how seriously EK, and the DAA take they're product to the next level. Did you also know that the new concourse A will have two entire floors just for Business, and First Class lounges, yet another record ?

I didn't say that it is cheap, but it looks vey cheap, tasteless.
About Burj Al Arab, it's a very beautiful building but inside it's so over the top, I prefer W hotels (for example the W doha), they have gorgeous tastefull design!

You are right about that, but that doesn't mean that people with money have good taste!

Same for Etihad and Qatar their crews are very international too (cheap labor forces), I flew last summer with QatarAairways and that is a very good product

So it seems like the A380 is gaining popularity with European, Asian, and Australian carriers. I beg to ask: which US airline would be most likely to operate the A380, and why?

Why do you think UA will be a likely operator of the A380? And will it be possible for it to operate domestic routes to ferry the plane to and from its hubs?

I think the most possible be United and Delta, because they have the B747 and most airlines that buy the A380 have had or have the B747 and therefore I believe that if any American airline to buy the A380, I think those are the more pobables, others who might be is Air Canada and Latin America do not believe there is any, but if there were, it would be bet TAM or Aerolineas Argentinas, in fact, had asked three A380, but happened not to cancel the order, but the livery of Aerolineas Argentinas A380 with, leaves you open-mouthed.

I really like the livery of AR on the A380! It makes me really want to fly... And I hope that some airline from the Americas will get it to enhance their long-haul flights.

I'm afraid to say it but your statement regarding all A380 operators previously operated the B744... EK & CZ never operated the B744...

On the other hand, they can go with 747-8i. Not sure about United, but for Delta A380 could be a very big plane.

Yesterday, Airbus has delivered Emirates their 26th A380.
Some 87 A380s are flying all around the world today.

Yeah, including a Lufthansa A380 from Frankfurt to San Francisco. Emirates just keeps getting more A380s... I wonder if and when it will serve MNL or CGK.

These two airports might be in the list of future A380 destinations as they both see an Emirates 777-300ER twice a day.

By the end of 2012, Emirates will use a daily A380 to Athens (26th of october), to Moscow (1st of december), Heathrow will be full A380 (5 daily) (from the 10th of december) and finally, a new A380 route to Singapour (First of december)

In 2013, second a380 to Paris and New-York (both the first of january).
And much more to be announced...
