I have no doubt that the first route the Qatar A380 will fly on will be between Doha and Dubai, as familiarization flights before going to London. And Qatar will only announce the routes officially 3 months in advance, so anything can still change but nevertheless it's of course going to be London as it's 1st major route.

That is a really short training flight. That is only like 300 or so KMs. Is that the same route Emirates did for training flights or did they do something different? I have read somewhere that Qatar wont take delivery of their A380s until the new airport is open. Can someone confirm this or was this just part of my imagination.

I think it's definitely longer than the CDG-LHR that AF used for training flights.

A380 Featured In Disney's Planes

I know this is kinda out of the topic, But just wanted to share this. Disney's upcoming, action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure: Disney's Planes did feature a passing A380. (On the right side of the picture.)

The blue one looks like a twin engine aircraft. Does look a lot like a KLM livery to me.

The yellow one furthest in the background looks like TUIfly to me, although the red logo on the tail is modified. No such livery exists on that A380 though.

Hi, It seems like BA decided them to be delivered from Toulouse, maybe linked to their A320's being delivered from TLS aswell.

Good to see BA with two new types in less than one week.

A380 looks the best in BA livery, by far, the best looking livery out there.
