Of course the Rugby player won. BA didn't want to look bad by beating he. They just want to sell tickets to make a profit.

Thank you for the explanation, captain obvious!

@HigerBigger: Thank you very much for the video! It´s a very nice idea by BA to promote the new A380 destination in such a creative way.

Two pics from the Airbus twitter:

Too bad that wont happen. Cathay's COO said in an article a couple of days ago that they are not going to order VLA.

Out of those Four pictures. The only one beside the 800 that has a possible chance of ever being built would be the 900. Emirates would buy a round couple dozen of them to fly. It is a shame that Airbus canceled the A380-800F program. Both UPS and FedEx each had 10 on order and Emirates Sky cargo had a couple on order too.

That livery fits so well with the A380 somehow, I never payed much attention to it after I saw how it actually looked...

I don't think so. Jeddah is very popular with Haiji charters. They are in a section of the world that is growing very rapidly in air travel. It will be sometime until we see daily A380 service other than Emirates. Emirates does or use to send a plane in their so that their A380s weren't sitting on the ground in DXB not making any money. That goes for AKL too. Emirates does a tag on from SYD, MEL, and BNE starting soon, so that their planes don't sit all day in SYD, MEL, and BNE not making any money.
