Nah, its a well known city. Its very close to South Korea so, lots of businesses are done there by Koreans.

Think cities like Winnipeg or Halifax to United States.

Otherwise KE and OZ wouldnt be flying there. Not to mention Vladivostok Air.

Well isn't Vladivostok very famous about their rail becuase it is the longest rail in the world connected to moscow right?

But still I wouldn't think someone waste a380 to a city that kind of well known, although for emergency landing is useful.

KE did have to prove to the government some things about the A380 for certification for the plane. They did the proving flight into Gimpo since it was the only airport that could handle the A380 besides ICN in Korea. I don't know if OZ will have to do any government proving flights since KE already operates them. Maybe NRT will be crew training flights since it is a short hop. We will probably see the A380 on the ICN-NRT route for increase capacity for the Olympics. I think it would be cool if the A380 visited Vladivostok. Personally the A380 should visit as many airports as possible. Plus it would be the highlight for the airport.

Guys, relax. It is obvious that VVO won't be the first destination for OZ's A380 ))) Though we have almost 3 flights per day on ICN-VVO route that are completely full especially during high-seasons peaks. And during these peaks KE use A333 and even B77W. But as it was said before, the airport is not ready to handle A380. But it has agreement with Transaero that it will be ready to handle A380 within 2015 year, when Transaero will get their first A380.

Indeed

It's just a competition to win concert tickets after all. Out of the 4 possible anwsers 2 are obviously wrong and 2 answers that could be correct. They didn't want to make it too difficult to answer logically.

London is also obviously wrong, well, at least to us with interests in aviation industry. Since BA is going daily there is potentially too much capacity if OZ starts A380 to LHR.

Frankfurt is the biggest European market from ICN and they cant get A380 service from ICN. Paris A380 service by KE ended as well. Although LH and OZ being alliance members maybe they can make it work.

Im still amazed BA is going daily on LHR ICN route.

Why can't OZ go to FRA with the A380?

This being said, they wouldn't come with a VLA project anytime soon... so the A380 will probably have little competition in that market for at least the next 20 years.
You forgot to mention the Sukhoi SuperJet. Amazing plane, I just flew it with InterJet in Mexico.

Thanks Oasis, nice picture. The Thai A380 livery is still one of my favorites
Somehow the picture reminds me on my first flight with it last year - one week in Service only the aircraft has been smelling like a new car...

LH A380 diverted to DFW from IAH due to storms in IAH area. Looked pretty cool to see an A380 on the ground in DFW. Maybe it was a dry run for DFW for possible A380 service. It was on the ground for about three hours.

It's an optical illusion but there's a small building between the QR A380 and the BA Concorde.
