BA's plane would be seen if its an A380. It is no easy task in hiding an A380 with a building. It could be hiding from its competitor or waiting to welcome Qatar into One World Alliance.

In term of color Korean Air wins. But when it came about service, I'd prefer Singapore Airlines

I must say, it's so far fortunate that no A380 carrier really has a bad A380 livery. Even Malaysia Airlines, whose criticisms stem from nostalgia over the old livery, isn't bad.

The daily BA179/BA182 is a 77W, but otherwise they use 744's; the youngest of which are 14 years old. The 22 and 23 year old examples will be leaving the fleet first as A380's and more 77W's are delivered.

I have flown LHR-JFK with BA, VS and DL over the last two years. The BA product is still competitive in this market. Your 'ancient and tired' description is a little harsh.

Once BA's A380 fleet increases in size, it is very likely that they will use it on the JFK route (as they do with the 77W now) because it is a good way to increase fleet utilisation.

The A380 is a nice looking plane! I still haven't been able to catch a flight on it yet. I'm hoping to get a chance the next time I travel abroad!

I was very unimpressed by BA. I flew back on AA and it was like night and day. Actually, among BA, AA, AF, KLM and Lufthansa (very uncomfortable seats), BA offered the worst product. That includes a shorthaul in Europe on a relatively new A319 (it had screens) with torn-up seats from the Cold war era. I will avoid them in the future.
