It's probably a vent for the pressurization system.

That is the air intake of APU unit, or onboard electric power generator. It is actually a turboshaft engine (a kind of jet engine) which is ran to rotate the electric generator.

Airbus has asked airlines to increase inspections of A380 wings after identifying unexpected levels of metal fatigue on a factory test aircraft, according to industry sources. The airlines have been ordered to inspect the wing's spars or main internal beams during heavy maintenance visits, which are conducted after six years in service.

It is the air inlet for the APU. All planes have a similar hole in that area.

In average, jumbojets also have APU units in their wingroot.

No they do not.

Look at any large plane from behind an you will see the APU exhaust at the tip of the tailcone.m
I do not know of any large plane that has an APU anywhere other than the tail.

My guess is that he's talking about the RAM air turbine. It's usually around that area.

I'm sorry, I think I mistook the RAM intake as APU intake.

But I browse the Google and I found that there is one variant of Boeing 727 that feature APU on its wingroot.

The tail fin for MSN166 (Etihad #1) was delivered to the final assembly line today.

A380 tail fins are normally painted prior to final assembly; Etihad will introduce a new livery on the 787/A380 hence this one is still white.
