As of now skymark has not announced any special livery for the A380s. Etihad on the other hand announced that they will be introducing a new livery on their A380s later this year. The tail arrived a couple weeks ago to TLS and it was all white.

Asiana will become the 8th A380 operator at LAX. The only A380 operators missing at LAX are Lufthansa, Thai and Malaysia Airlines.
As for MH and TG, for sure there is no chance at all of seeing them sending a380s to LAX, how about Lufthansa as well as the upcoming operators (Qatar Airways and Etihad) ?

Qatar is and would be a long shot with the A380. First off they need to start service to LAX. However they have other plans and right now and those plans dont involve bringing the A380. Lax is a good possible route for them starting with an A350 when they get more in their fleet. Etihad is the same boat. They are starting service later this year and then the demand has to build. I dont think they will ever serve LAX with the A380. They might leave the 777 on the route for the time being. And Lufthansa would be nice if they ever went double daily from FRA. One 747-8I and one A380. Thai and MH doesnt have enough A380s and they would have to have a stop over on the way to LAX unless they only put 200 seats on the plane so it can get off the ground with a full load of fuel to make it to LAX.

At unrealistic list value though. In reality probably around half that amount.

The structure on the beach (in the second picture) looks like a former airport structure. Is it the remains of the old Mascot airport?

Will the plane be painted white during testing and then painted when it gets closer to delivery to put on the new livery? Anyone know?
