I'd say that one has been photoshopped, as Qantas never received an A380 in the old livery. Although, a A380 did visit Australia with a "Qantas" type for promo work.

Qantas have in the past done promotional shoots over Sydney Harbour, so there is a high chance there are many "real" photos out there featuring Qantas (and other airlines) over that city.

When I flew out of DXB (Dubai Intl' Airport) last month, I saw three of them there: Two at the gates, and the 3rd parked in front of the Engineering Center.

It was nice that the first time I ever saw a A380, to actually be three of them.

Now BEAT that!

The agreement was signed during the visit of François Fillon in Hanoi to strengthen trade ties with the communist country. The Prime Minister is accompanied by Ministers Valerie Pécresse (Education), Anne-Marie Idrac (Trade) and Dominique Bussereau (Transport). A delegation of 45 business leaders also made the trip, including the bosses of Astrium (EADS Space), Francois Auque, Arianespace, Jean-Yves Le Gall, and France Telecom, Didier Lombard.

Explosion of air traffic

Faced with an explosion in air traffic as the country grows by 86 million, Vietnam Airlines intends to 2020 Trippler fleet now comprises 50 aircraft. Since 2007, the carrier has completed the purchase of 10 A350-900XWB and 20 A321-200. From what I recall, that is actually a real photo (i.e. not photoshopped). When the A380 first visited Sydney for promotional flights, they stuck temporary decals (vinyl?) on it with QANTAS livery. I believe they did this at other destinations too with the same airframe. Hence why the plane is in old QANTAS livery, it was done before the change.

Love it! Can't wait until Vietnam Airlines receives it's A380's which I think is in 2015! The only thing that is missing is the SkyTeam logo.

At this stage, none of the US carriers have ordered the A380.

I think there's a very slim possibility of that happening even in the future.
