Reclaimed land locations

http://www.macaudailytimesnews.com/i...tion%20679.pdf

I once saw map of these areas, but I can not find again. I think Zone A is where the bridge will come in.

I am specifically looking for the Taipa zones. Anyone update? Zone E is the ferry terminals? These zones are important to consider when buying a property (ex Horizon) that may no longer have a sea view or on the other hand may become more valuable due to green area access.

Zone A in the north eastern part of the Macau Peninsula will have a size of 138 hectares after adjustment and be themed as a “community area” that includes residential buildings, schools, environmental and public facilities.
In addition, large-scale convention and exhibition industry will be developed there.

Zone B will be a 47 hectare usable land located in the south of Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-Sen in NAPE.
It will be planned for building public institutions, expanding roads and green space as well as a waterfront promenade.

The north of Taipa will be divided into Zone C, D and E with a total usable area of 165 hectares.
The three zones will be mainly used to develop residential buildings, transport infrastructure, green space and recreational facilities.

Bye bye sea views for some and new opportunities for others!

Secretary for Transport and Public Works Lau Si Io said yesterday (30 NOV09) the 361.65 hectare reclamation project will be divided into 5 different areas, in which 2 will be in the Macau Peninsula and 3 will be in Taipa.
They are in Macau’s northeast (near the Oriental Pearl), to the south of Avenida Dr. Sun Yat Sen in Nape, opposite to the Ocean Gardens in Taipa, Pac On as well as near the Macau International Airport.

Reclaimed land proposals

Found this old Colliers report from MAR06.

Look at pages 4/5 for proposals at that time. Include landfill and what was supposed to be rail link. Interesting.

When are the reclamation projects mentioned above starting and completing?

How abou Hengqin? Will the new plans for Henqin (i.e. delegated to Macau to administer) affect these reclamation plans in Macau?

Zones A (look off-shore at dredging boats), B (science museum +) and E (taipa ferry) are already underway.
Can not find any updates on zones C and D. Anybody? These affect all residential units along the Taipa waterline with views to Macau.

Hengquin has its own plan. As of now Macau only designated Univ Macau area - which is currently under land prep.

Currently land reclamation going on around airport - with no report of purpose.
