Is it true this tower will be 934 ft. with a spire added to reach 1,100? So is it then technically still smaller than the US Bank Tower?

Yes, you are right. The building itself will be only 285 meters or 934 feet tall and will therefore be shorter than the US Bank Tower

It'll be nice to have a spire on the skyline for a change though even if the roof is "only" 285 meters.

Hopefully the spire isn't as skinny as the renderings make it out to be.

Agreed, a spire would look good in LA since none of it's current buildings have one

(Note: Contrary to what some people might think, I don't hate spires. I merely hate counting them towards height. I like flat roofs more, but I like spires too)

The BK counts there spire to total 2,717' And at the top it is a round pipe sticking out. It is cool how this will be the 1st building coming to a tallest point and what that will mean for future tall buildings.
