Cool, so the current height is 146 meters or 480 feet

That'll be the four tower mega-project currently going on southwest of Wilshire Grand. 19, 38, 40, and 54 story towers currently being worked on in that plot.

Not to turn this off topic but for those who are unaware, Downtown Los Angeles is currently going through a massive construction boom. While it may seem rather small compared to other city booms, this is one of the largest DTLA is currently going through and each project will impact the skyline immensely. As it stands, 10 towers are currently rising with another 4-6 imminent to begin.

This is the largest boom within the USA outside of NYC.

Isn't Miami positioned for a massive boom itself?

I parked at City Target couple days ago, and got some up-close and personal pics of WG. It looks much larger in person than it does in the pics. The glass looks awesome, and it appears that they are going to really pick up the pace with cladding the structure.

But to start with, are the pics I'm pulling off my phone taken mostly from the 110...

These were taken across the period of about 5 days on my way to work and passing by on the way home. Very noticeable with all the welders, that can be seen from quite a distance in the mornings! I am not the best with taking pics unfortunately

I am going through my my photos of my little trip to WG, and starting to upload them to tinypic now. Hopefully I can get this next post up later tonight or tomorrow afternoon!

EDIT - not working as planned... any recommendations for free pic hosting?
