Nice picture indeed! What are they doing to the crown of Paul Hastings tower in the background though?

If you go to the Los Angeles section then go to projects. Check out the Wilshire Grand. We have "Tower Guy" posting now from the top crane!

I more or less said the same thing in the past, and many people jumped all over me about it.

On a different note, I can see WG sticking out like a sore thumb from where I work at Children's Hospital. Depending on where I am in the hospital, DTLA can appear clustered together, or look like tall figures with spaces between them because of the grid layout. I dont even have to be at the top floor of the hospital, as being just 5 stories up (about 90 feet) does it. I was in the research building today on the top floor about 165 feet up (10th or 12th floor), and I was pissed because I had an incredible view of DTLA but my phone was dead! Ill be back in that lab next week, and I should finally get some good pics again for the first time in months

^Amazing photo! That specific view always shows how dense Central LA/Wilshire Corridor is.

I hadn't noticed they started adding the roof to the lower portion of WG as well. Nice.

There will be one last placement of 12' rebar cages including the concrete forms to complete the concrete core. Then the steel work will enclose these floors and continue up with the sail structure and spire.
