Fits perfectly in LA's downtown, i hope the investors follow that trend and it grows bigger in the future.

Absolutely agree! My great hope is that one day the wilshire grand slots into the LA skyline in the same category as the chrysler building in NYC. I.E., a beautiful architectural gem that serves as an example of a skyscraper of a particular era, and holds its own in a skyline among much taller buildings.

LOVE this tower! It's only 150 ft shorter for my tastes, but oh well that is for LA's next tallest to take over

One worry I have, Curbed LA said that this tower will now have a height of 1009'. Here is the article in question:

http://la.curbed.com/2016/3/9/111861...ing-out-photos

I chalk this up to mistaken reporting on curbed's end, I've heard nothing else on a 91' reduction, and I feel like this tower is already too tall to support such a "short" final height.

It's a mistake. They're saying it'll be the tallest building in the West, but at 1,009 it would be 9 feet shorter than US Bank Tower.

Is this the same project that a few years ago was listed as a 2 tower project where one would be almost 1300ft (400m)? I remember seeing something like that being discussed a few years ago but don't know where.. so just wondering if that one was cancelled or redesigned.
