Ugh they better not install the KAL logo on the sail. DTLA is notorious for its logos on top of buildings, but please no logo on the Wilshire Grand! :/

Notorious?

You take exception to the general style of DTLA building logos, or are you suggesting a company that has naming rights for a building should not display its name on that building?

Yes notorious.

And ouch, didn't mean to trigger you. Logos on building are tacky imo.

Trigger me? I think you're giving far too much weight to the question.

But subjectively tacky or not, it's reasonable that when a company spends vast sums on a building that it should put its name or logo on it as well.

But perhaps we could have an anti-tacky law. Like those town planning regulations that dictate color schemes so as not to offend sensitive tastes.

Compare that to this from about 9 years ago.

LA is really underrated when it comes to how much is being built. It's literally changing before our very eyes. South Park alone is building out so much and it's not even done. Do you see the Ritz? Expect to see 2 buildings of that size in South Park.

Neat skyline. Now it's time to start building the Tyrell Corp. pyramids.

Those skyline pictures are amazing. It's as if LA wants to reclaim the 3rd best skyline.
