It is 285 meters or 934 feet to the roof and 302 meters or 991 feet to the open air lattice crown

Do they have any in California??? Like SF or SD.. if not, then a megatall in Los Angeles or SF would be sweet.

Heh, a reminder so as not to confuse anyone, that the crown isn't open air, but will be enclosed in glass.

Trump wanted to redevelop the Ambassador Hotel site into the world's tallest building about 20 years back. He also bid for the parcel at 10000 Santa Monica Blvd, although he lost out to Crescent Heights.

It is? I didn't know that, from the renders it looked like open air. Thanks for correcting me, so then the roof height will be the 302 meters or 991 feet

they currently only have the National Golf Course in Palos Verdes, but are looking at Downtown for a future Development opportunity.

where did you get those exact numbers?

I believed the crown would measure 1,000 feet plus a 100 foot spire equaling the 1,100 total height. (Chris Martin said this, but you may be correct)

I know I'm in the minority, but I hate this tower. Sorry.

That's true, but the observation deck is supposed to be open air, with trees even.

Oh most definitely, that top deck is going to be amazing. I plan on getting up there somehow or other, even if it means getting a room for the night.

I just meant to point out for Kanto that the upper crown is enclosed. As a dyed-in-the-wool roof height guy with stringent rules (most of which I tend to agree with), he was making a distinction in the overall height of the building based on whether the crown was open or not.

Kanto it's a closed crown. AC Martin, the developers have told us the top of the crown hits the 1,000 mark. The spire adds another 100 feet surpassing the Transbay by 30 feet.

the crown itself is 66 feet high, and the spire being 100 feet tall.

I got the 302 meters by measuring the SSP diagram drawing of the building, so if the developer said that it is 304 meters or 1 000 feet then what the developer said is a higher quality information. Thanks for correcting me folks

I like the lattice crown. Generally speaking, I don't care for flat roofs on skyscrapers.
