Very nice, it's great to see lots of cranes around downtown Los Angeles.

are you sure it hope and 9th? Because that is where the CIM Park Tower will rise, Hope and 8th is wood partners tower which is nearly topped out.

so which was it?

Very nice rendering.

Looking at Wilshire Grand built up at it's place really broadens the LA Skyline. It really makes one think how much void it would bring back should that tower disappear. In an interesting twist, we don't think much of it now, because it's not there yet. But that picture above probably shows how much more future generations will look back and ponder at what we have now.

If it looks great during the day, I wonder how much more iconic it will be at night when the low-intensity LED illumination lights put on their show. For a billion dollars, I'm sure its going to be well worth it...

Several developments in those photos. They added Putzmeister concrete pump, and the truck ramp is almost gone. So I wonder if they are going to do the concrete pour from the street level somehow?

Yeah, might be a smidge too high, but US Bank Tower is a little further east, and the view is from the north west, so they might look about the same from that perspective, won't really know until it's actually built, cause I don't know how to calculate the exact coordinates from a photo.

Isn't US Bank Tower also on a hill? If so, the height looks accurate.

Looks like the first major 21st century addition to Los Angeles (though I really appreciate the mid-late century architecture in the skyline)

Why do I care more about LA's skyline then anywhere else? I live in Louisiana so I have no connection to LA. I love this tower & can't wait to c what they do in LA in the future, anyone else feel the same?

Maybe it's because Louisiana's abreviation is LA lol. I'm more attached to NYC tbh but that's probably because I am much closer geographically and have been there many more times then the one time I went to LA. I am excited to see this building rise and I love how it looks in that render
