The crane to the right will be moved into that location. They have begun to install perimeter columns on the south side.

Weird to see them skipping 13 and 14 in floor numbering.

14 yes. I don't think 13 missing is that unusual. It seems that is the case in most buildings.

13 is regularly skipped because it is considered unlucky. I have heard of East Asian countries skipping 14 because 4 and any number with a 4 in it is skipped because 4 is a homophone (sounds similar to) for death in their language.

The owner is the Hanjin Group of South Korea, so they are skipping it. If that holds true for the rest of the building, 24, 34, 40-49, 54, etc. will be skipped.

They're gonna skip the entire 40s? That'll be confusing as hell for the Americans who go there.

They just finished jumping the outer core forms. They have the floor numbers painted on the concrete. There is a picture on SSP page 118 post 2351 2nd picture. They have a 24

In Las Vegas some of the tallest buildings do this and some jump 40s and 50s. In the stairwell you climb up 1 floor and the number jumps from 39 to 60

This is done in lots of high rises to some extent to give the impression you are on a very high floor, which is important to some people. My brother-in-law falls for this every time even though it takes 1 second to go from, say, 3 to 8 and then again from 22-29. In Mexico I noted this when I decide to take the stairwell for exercise and overshot my floor.

I was staying at the Mandalay Bay in Las vegas. I was on the 60th floor and took the stairs down one floor to 39
