How old do you reckon that little decrepit timbered cottage? It is falling apart, but so picturesque......

Wow, these are some amazing photographs - not necessarily because of the content but because of the artistic way you've captured everything.

Some of the best photo taking I've seen on this site, excellent work and I look forward to more from you!

Seeing the photos of flowers though makes me really miss flowers a lot, we don't have many growing in New Zealand like you do in Europe. Wildflowers are quite rare here in comparison.

These are just some pictures of the last walk up to the Schwedenschanze (Swedes' Sconce), 306m high in a hill range:

My company on that day (sister, brother-in-law, niece):

...and the old photographer with his niece:

My company on the previous trip to Nuremberg and Neuhaus an der Pagnitz (my mom and bf):

Thank you very much! I thought New Zealand had lots of exotic flora!

Not flowers no. New Zealand is a comparatively young country and thus doesn't have very evolutionarily evolved flora which is why ferns predominate the ecosystem.

Absolutely wonderful pictures, especially the nature pics. Some of them deserve to be on a poster or a calender or anything like that. And the black/white picture with you and your niece is very cute.
