If I had to live in the UK, it would be in Brighton. Thanks mate.

I wouldn't say most Brits hate it, in fact I'd say the complete opposite. Some people think that it's a bit tacky, but they're usually boring people who prefer quieter places anyway. Pretty much everybody I know, under the age of 35 (and many over 35s) love the place. Strangely enough a couple of Brits were slagging Brighton off on SSC a few months ago (maybe you saw the same thread), which I found a little strange. It's one of the most vibrant, cosmopolitan, happy-go-lucky places in the UK, with some beautiful architecture, what's not to like?

I knwo for a fact that you would love Brighton, Mr Bricks!

I highly recommend that Scandinavian pub which is a slightly different drinking experience than the regular English pubs (i.e. cleaner, no bad smell, prettier female bar staff ).
There is nothing wrong with traditional English pubs, they have character!

Much warmer and friendlier than this Scandinavian bar:

I know where I'd rather drink!

Our beer is better too!

Proper beer!
