It may have been an Iranian restaurant, or the owner was persian and he liked the Persian royalty.

 yeah I would assume that's the case too. a lot of the restaurant owners in the old market are Persian |

                 Old Kuwaiti sodas (somebody should bring these back!):     A clinic in the village of Sh3eiba, part of a series of villages called Qura al Qu9oor, which don't exist anymore     The first female doctor in Kuwait Eleanor Calverley (aka Khatoun Halima as the Kuwaitis called her LOL).
