Lovely facades. Riga has got some of the best-looking architecture of that time (late 19th-early 20th century).

Yes - those few blocks in the Art Nouveau district were an eye-opener! Amazing how well-kept they are after all these years!

That's true. Riga underwent a massive renovation of those facades during the last two decades. It certainly didn't look as good in early-mid 90's as it does today.
