The awful mixture of palm trees and french architecture reminds me of my dear Buenos Aires.

Who told the world that palm trees go well together with french architecture?

French architecture looks nice with Jacarandá trees (with purple flowers), for example. Like in the picture that I am attaching below, from Katti Barre, which was taken at Libertador Av. in Buenos Aires.

According to some people, it seems, as if all neoclassical buildings are French. XD

Neoclasical or monumental are not french A. and both buildings are neoclasico and monumental style respectively. French A. means Second empire style, french neobaroque style, french neorococo style, academic french style, all this styles have a lot of things in common.

Anyway guys, in case you forgot that fact, this thread which I created is about French influenced architecture(s), not about French architecture itself.

Just take a look at the first posts of the thread if you want more info/clarifications etc.

They are actually French Indochinese architecture cos it's a mix of neoclassical, Chinese and Angkorian archiecture. Don't know if we can call them French influenced or not because these things are products of french colonialism in Indochina just like French Lousiana.
