It does. I wonder if the trees will grow much larger?

The cladding itself is similar to Solaria's.

As I said some time ago, trees are of various sizes 3,6,9 meters and will become bigger. The various kinds of plants will grow also. Surely we can have a good effect in few years. It should look like render.

Looks unexpectedly good, congrats Milan!

How are the roots supposed to have enough soil and room up there? They obviously can't grow infinitely without getting their way through the concrete.

I know the choice of 900 trees and over 2000 plants has been carefully studied by good experts, so this isn't a problem Certainly it is one of the biggest projects in Milan, and become a city symbol. Pride for the first kind of green skyscraper in the world, anticipating a new way to construct: metropolitan reforestation that contributes to the regeneration of the environment and urban biodiversity

An absolute beauty! We love you italy! This is such a great tower, hope more like it will be built, especially in packed cities where smog is an issue

I really like the contrast of the trees and the black cladding.

Yeah. They need to dig away all the polluted ground and replace it with some new one.

This process should be done by August, then the actual park will begin and it'll be ready in 2015 (I guess before April, in order to open in time for EXPO)

This will be such a nice area after that ugly construction lot nearby is finished.
