Exactly
They've also painted the small chimneys on top. Now they're black and they're far less visible than before.
By the way, at least one of the buildings is already inhabited.

I hope those balconies are stronger than they look. It feels like they'll collapse under the weight of the trees.

That lighting scheme will be awesome!

Also, what is that low-rise building under construction nearby? A reclad?

The tiny building just at the right of the skyscrapers is the House of Memory. A small building to remember the Partisans who fought against fascism in WWII. Here's the rendering

The higher U/C building on the right, above the yellow houses, was abandoned in May 2012. The developer failed, and he and his entire family were later arrested for false accounting.
So it's bound to remain like that for a while, until they sell it to another developer.
Please note that the building is unrelated with the rest of Porta Nuova development.

Here's a rendering for that building, seen from the opposite side. We nicknamed it Rasoio (razorblade). However, of course the future new developer could decide to slightly change the project.

Bosco Verticale it was inaugurated. "China is interested in replicating the project" said architect Stefano Boeri.

That's a good question.
According to this scale model of the skyscrapers, they should still add those horizontal light-covering panels to the ground floor. At the moment, the ground floor only has reflective glass panels. However, they might have decided not to add them, we don't know.

Here are the model and the current situation
