QR seems to use a lot of their new European destinations with the A320s..I wonder why though, why can't they use widebodies instead?

Not enough business to fill a wide. However their single daily return to DUB has done well so far (it launched just after the blockade ) and an second daily is already rumoured for next summer and to be announced in November. QR Pax from DUB tend to be flying onwards east of Qatar where service levels are not affected.

The name of the airline is fly-a-deal. However the name of the airline in Arabic is Tayaran (fly)- a-deal. So they didn't translate the deal part of the name.

Yea, But adeal is the name of the fly (Tayaran), so that why they translate fly and not for adeal.. (Like: Dubai City)

you can translate the City, But you cannot translate Dubai.

It's not name issue, it's language issue my friend.

How about the DOH-PRG flight? Is it doing good so far that it might warrant a widebody plane soon? 'Coz EK sends the A380 to PRG from DXB when I did a mock booking a while ago.

QR is trying to fill 2 daily flights with narrowbody first, and then send widebody it there will be enough demand. For sure, It is better to have 2 daily narrow than 1 daily wide. There is some candidates for wb before PRG... BUD(2daily A320), ZAG(2daily A320), OTP(2daily A320/321).

Frequency trumps capacity IMO. EK's success over EY and QR has been due to the choice of flight timings they offered, but QR is catching up and now offers more flight options to some destinations.

Correct.

For full service airlines like the ME4 (shortly ME4.25 once the new terminal in Jeddah opens not that I will ever use it. )

Emirates adds fourth daily service to Sydney

Emirates is adding a fourth daily service to Sydney, Australia. The new service will be operated by an A380 aircraft from 25 March 2018. The airline already has three daily A380s services. The new service will increase passenger capacity on the route by 6,846 seats a week, inbound and outbound between Sydney and Emirates hub in Dubai; a 7.3 percent increase in capacity for Emirates Australian services.

This service is meant to complement Qantas future withdrawal from Dubai.

Their flights are alright, but the main issue is the lack of wide body aircrafts thatswhy many new European destinations are narrow body aircrafts operated by QR to Dublin, Sarajevo, Prague, Kiev and Skopje. This is also a good method in order to step into the market and develop slowly.

Full A380 flights doesn't mean making profit, as many tickets often have been sold to very low prices. EK is aggressive with their A380 as they have too many of them which some of them are not needed in every market as it might be only a small one and will oversaturate, but of course aircrafts needs to by flying a lot.
