I spent half a year in Portugal on a scholarship and I absolutely fell in love with the country. The weather, the landscapes, the people - all wonderful. I made a resolution to move some day to Portugal, I hope the plan will come off ...
Do you have any pictures of Alentejo?

Nope. Comparing to Ireland prices in Portugal are very reasonable. You can go for a dinner to the restaurant in centre of Lisbon and pay less than 25EUR. You can get bottle of 5yo LBV Porto for about 10EUR! Fruits are very cheap as well. Bus, trams and metro tickets costs 1.40 IIRC. Tickets to museums and other places are also cheap - usually less than 5EUR (the only exception was Lisbon Oceanarium - 11EUR).

Well, pay 25€ for a dinner is pretty expensive for Portuguese standards if is just for 1 person. You can eat good meals for not more 5/10€ in normal restaurants.

Now these are some great pics! I like this rural composition very much. Will there be any pics from bigger cities? Got to consider visiting Portugal in few years time

I got back from Lisbon last Tuesday and I need some time to review, resize and upload my pictures. Hopefully I'll be ready next week...
