Question about CTA and Metra

Hello everyone. I will be in the Chicagoland area tomorrow and I wanted to know if it would be possible to ride a train from Midway Airport all the way to the Gary,IN Greyhound bus station or just downtown Gary. If this is possible could someone please give me the routes I would need to do this. Thanks in advance for all of your help.

You'll want to take the Orange line from Midway to downtown and then take the South Shore line from Millenium Station (Michigan and Randolph) to Gary Metro Center. Keep in mind South Shore trains don't run particularly frequently.

On weekends they run about every two hours.
