London is Panoramic

These photos were made on the same weekend as my other thread, London is Awesome

I bought a new tripod literally on the same day I was leaving for London, therefore I was really anxious to try it out. Maybe a bit too anxious, even, which is how I ended with more than 20 panoramas in 3 days. I thought some of them were worth showing and so here they are

The panoramas are clickable - depending on your browser, this should open them in a new window or tab and resize them to fit.

London is Panoramic

I agreed with John to meet next to London City Hall. On my way there I decided to snap at least one shot from an extremely touristy spot

141.

Next stop - Primrose Hill, which was covered with people on a Saturday afternoon.
142.

Limehouse Basin.

143.

144.

Back at the Tower of London.

145.

A 180° view at the Millennium bridge.

146.

River Thames at Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich.

147.

London skyline from the hill next to the Royal Observatory. Really wish these two panoramas were made from the exact same spot

148.

149.

And a river view. This one is well wide. The full resolution file is 33000x2200 - 72 megapixels

150.

The river again, next to Thames Barrier.

151.

The last few shots done near King's Cross station, done while I was waiting for my train.

152.

Unfortunately, lost the bottom left corner due to the wide-angle distortion

153.

154.

There are so many cranes in London. It's good to see.

London is one of the most modern european city.

I love north european urban places, they give me "feeling of clear".

Awesome panorama shots. You just made them without a standard for your camera or stative whatever it's called?

I did use a tripod if that's what you mean.
Panoramic photos at longer focal lengths are not very hard to do without a tripod, but the wide-angle shots such as the last three are nearly impossible.

The main problem with my tripod is that it has a ball head. It's awesome for when you want to compose a photo quickly but far from ideal for panoramas.

London is not really European. It's British!
