Timisoara, Romania - Rehabilitation & New Projects in Historical Areas

They will invest 4.5 million euros to convert historic buildings into a 5-star hotel in Timisoara. Hotel capacity will be increased with 60 rooms and 14 apartments. Entrance hall, the first for Romania, will be complemented by an art gallery - Galeria Calina, a proven name in Romanian art. In the basement of the building, 600 square meters, will be arranged a recreation point for hotel guests, that a beauty parlor, fitness room and a sauna and a medical point closed loop. For the remaining space has a plan to achieve a casino or a club. Multifunction Hall "Vienna" to be increased by another 200 seats, totaling 600 seats. The mezzanine will be a restaurant hall with a capacity of 200 seats overlooking Victoria Square.

Wow these shop windows would look gorgeous on that building! Are these plans made after the initials ones? I understood they won't be constructed as the city council didn't approve the project...what a pity!!
