I┤m not saying that Birmingham is a shithole at all, but I think there┤s more to a skyline than what Birmingham has to offer. The Holloway Circus tower is the only building I find beautiful. Surely Benidorm must be your favourite European skyline - it┤s full of the same kind of 60s/70s midrise/highrise buildings.

Some of my Brussels pics:

The hague is similar to vienna in that the height to width ratio of the buildings doesnt form a very skyscraper like skyline.

This is the Northern half of Manchesters Skyline as Beetham, Great Northern and all the others are just off to the left.

All of the skyline from the north

All of the skyline from the south

Sorry but I cant understand why Manchester has only 11 votes

I love cities where old and new meet, but I do not think the current highrises in Manchester (except Beetham, and perhaps Mediacity) do the city any favours.

You haven't a clue have you. You think only world class buildings will ever be constructed from now on?

Eh? All I┤m saying is that I wouldn┤t post pics of my city┤s skyline until there┤s really something worth looking at.

^That's just the first new tower. Four more will follow in the next one or two years. And they are even higher!

^Because the skyline of The Hague is the best. You know it also, but you are afraid to admit it.
