arent'y there many names for that island? i remember once i was told it's called "rabbit island" ?? is that true?

it was called rabbit island because the french raised rabbits there in the 1920's

i once saw a report on this street on future tv, appearantly it has some decent restaurants and cafes...i wonder why it looks so empty in the pics because in the report it was packed with people !!!

i saw that too program called; Lamasat and they mentioned the street has around 11 pubs and that it's the nightlife hotspot of the town.

When I went to the islands last summer I was really disappointed. There was so much garbage everywhere
