The Ananda Samakhon Hall in Bangkok, part of the palace complexes of the Royal family,
and which very few people have seen the inside of. It was commissioned by King Rama V
as an addition to Vinanmek Palace, and is closed to the general public:

@the splif fairy: first picture: fake or not? Amazing render.
Paints on last pics sucks imo, if compare to Pincio posts in Italy.

Opera Garnier, hmm, want more.

edit: opera Garnier

first pic is not fake! What makes you think that?
The building was built in 1906 under King Rama V. Its known as the Ananda Samakhon Throne Hall

The throne hall is only ever open to cameras on special occasions, in this case the King's birthday, at which representatives of ALL the royal families in the world were invited.

It's in Las Vegas, and the writer of the article presumably hasn't been out much, seen much, or heard much.

If he/she has, then he/she walks around blind, or does not know how to use a simple search engine/conduct an image search.

It's perhaps not a classic ceiling, having been completed in 2003 :-)

Royal Palace of Madrid

has some of the most beautiful ceilings in any palace anywhere done by supreme artists like Tiepelo, Giaquinto and Mengs.
