The royal palace itself. This was also build by the Dutch king Willem I in the early 19th century when he connected two older mansions but it got heavily extended by King Leopold II around 1900.

The renaissance Egmontpalace. A sole survivor of the rich palaces which were build during the bourgondian and Habsburg reign in the 15th and 16th centuries

The Brussels Palace of Justice. This is absolutely gigantic, it's one of the biggest buildings constructed in the 19th century.

Underneath the ground you can find the remains of the old palace of the Burgundian dukes and emperor Charles V. This was one of the most beautifull palaces of it's time but unfortunately it burned to the ground in the 18th century. Instead of rebuilding it about 7 meters of earth were added to create space for two new classicist squares. These remains where rediscovered and now you can visit a museum where you can see the chapel, the magna aula and walk across a street that's been covered for almost 300 years to what's left of a neighbouring mansion from the same period.

Here we have the royal palace again, it was build pretty much right on top of the old imperial palace.
