A friend of mine notorius on the Perth scene used to own the 'big blue house' on Scarborough beach.

I think this was photoshopped to not include the harbour bridge for some reason:

You can talk, I think Perth takes the cake for the most retarded names in the country

Anyway, here's a shot of Outer Harbour by brettkp on Flickr:

Outer Harbour again, this time looking back over the rest of the city:

By the way, I highly recommend following that link and having a look at the rest of that guy's photos on Flickr (by clicking on his username at the top of the page), he's got some great photos from around Australia!

Except for Noosa and Pelican waters, they look very unattractive to me. Every time I have been to Noosa it seemed very uneventful.

Alex Heads and Mooloolaba are quite nice though. Good atmosphere. Maybe that's just how I remember them...

yeah i reckon! compared to names like Cooloongup, Joondalup, Gwelup, Trigg, Mariginup, Cullacabardee, Koongamia & Mandogalup, suburb names like Mooloolaba, Buddina, Coolum, Kawana, Noosa, Currimundi, Alexandra Headland and Bribie Island just seem retarded really!

I'm glad I'm not the only person that thinks Perth has the most amount of wierdo suburb names in the country I mean, who calls a suburb "Success"?! That would be really wierd if someone asked you where you lived, they'd think you were all up yourself and cocky

Dargh, now I'm the one dragging us off topic!! Here's a nice pic from abovephotography.com.au with Glenelg North and the Airport in the foreground and the CBD and other suburbs in the background.

yes - it says that right below your name, i mean more specifically.

the sunshine coast is far from perfect, but it compares favorably in comparison to most areas of brisbane. you're entitled to your opinion, but very unattractive would not normally be a phrase to describe that region.

I didn't describe the Sunshine Coast as unattractive, I said Noosa was very unattractive.
