In Italy we have a lot of Skyscrapers, Milan is the richest, with masterpieces like Grattacielo Pirelli and Velasca Tower.
Now are UC many others, like this tower.

We often hear about london, paris but rarely about italy! Rome doesn't like those things? no?

This is the rendering already posted above:

From left to right: Torre Breda, Grattacielo Pirelli (already existing), Diamantone (currently u/c), Torre Galfa (existing), Torre Solaria (u/c), Palazzo Lombardia (existing), Torre Pelli (almost topped out)

another perspective, including the City Life project:

I'm interested what the people in Milan are thinking about the highrise boom there. I always thought the Italians aren't open-minded to changes.

cue more stereotypes about the "lazy" Italians.

what the **** is wrong with these biased forumers?

PS. Skyscrappers? You've gotta be freakin' kidding me. Do you know what the name of this Web site is? What did you put in your browser?

I know that Italy is more than the Mafia and the Tuscany, but what I'm watching now is another dimension of highrise construction compared to the decades before. And I'm wondering why, because in my eyes there's neither a superfast growing economy or population nor a real estate bubble like in Spain.

And my question was serious. What I want to know is if Italy is undergoing the same changes as Germany and maybe lots of european countries where the population gets older and therefore an increasing number of people don't looks into the future but remains in the past.
