WOOW! In my City, Zurich (Switzerland), they are constructing two towers (about 120m). But the third one was already refused by a people's vote!

Lucky Chicago! Just great!

It's got that round, plastic-like look. I've got the feeling that people will think more critical about it in a dozen years. But i still like its cladding and as of today i give it a 6/10

Why did it become sticky??

I love this building, couldn't be better, and in a better city.

10/10 of course.

I like the building but it doesn't seem that tall to me. Must be the antenna.

Design-wise 8.5/10

This is one of the least impressive supertalls I think I have ever seen. The glass is poor, not terrible but poor (look at the first picture of the thread to see the horrendous oil canning of the windows). The shape can be wonderful from some angles but downright awful from others. Viewed on end and it is beautiful, curvy and thin. Viewed from the east down the river, it comes across as awkward and fat. There is only one tower in the world more two-faced than this one and it, coincidentally, also is in Chicago--Aqua Tower looks unbelievably gorgeous from up close but messy and forgetable from afar.

The top is just plain stupid. There is no getting around it. It is just sooo stupid. But my biggest pet peeve is the giant garage on which it sits. I love seeing buildings at dusk, just when they begin to sparkle. But this one doesn't sparkle until 20 floors up, it glows. And this unsettling glow shows off the fact that its base is totally lifeless and filled with cars. This is a great urban area! Why do we need so many cars? And even worse, why do we have to show them off?!

5.5 out of 10. 4 for the close up views that make it look skinny and 1.5 for everything else.
